An essential piece…classic, delicate and simple. This timeless necklace features a sterling silver lotus flower as the pendant which is held in place by a simple knot and floating along each side of the lotus flower are high quality 3mm genuine gemstones (garnet, carnelian, citrine, peridot, turquoise, lapis, amethyst). The gemstones are left to float along the thread symbolizing the fluidity of our lives. Moving these beads back down to the lotus reinforces the awareness of our intention of wearing this piece to center ourselves.

The sterling silver lotus flower and gemstones are threaded onto durable high quality silk giving the piece a natural and flexible touch.

The piece is securely fastened with a 925 sterling silver lobster clasp.

DISCLAIMER: Silver beads and findings are treated and have been given some form of temporary anti-tarnish treatment. Efficacy varies from a couple of weeks to months, so ultimately these items will still tarnish. All sterling silver jewelry will eventually tarnish and require to be cleaned gently.

Tips on how to help prevent tarnishing on your silver jewelry and pieces from happening in the first place:

– The best way to prevent tarnishing is to store clean, dry sterling silver in a dry airtight container, like a Ziploc bag, Tupperware, etc.

– Don’t leave silver jewelry in the bathroom unprotected, and do not wear it the shower, swimming pool or hot tub.

– Minimize sterling silver’s contact to chemicals found in hairspray, perfume, body lotion, makeup, etc.
